Ayati Trust Sri Lanka is a charitable trust incorporated between the University of Kelaniya, a state university in Sri Lanka and Hemas Holdings and MAS Holdings. An eminent and well respected Board of Trustees has been appointed to ensure the long term sustainability of the efforts of the trust. Ayati is a long term national initiative which has three main aims.

The Faculty offers the only BSc degree programme in Speech and Hearing Sciences in Sri Lanka and provides multi- disciplinary clinical services for children with disabilities and their families in a University based clinical setting. At present our clinics provide services for more than 1500 children and their families. The services are multidisciplinary, up to date and evidence based. However, space is the biggest challenge to provide these services, and the physical infrastructure is less than optimal.
